About the event
The Family Support Group is a therapist-led space designed for loved ones supporting individuals who are struggling with mental health challenges or addiction. Caregivers often face uncertainty about how to help, what signs to look for, and how to balance supporting others while caring for themselves. This group offers a safe and supportive environment where participants can share experiences, receive guidance, and gain valuable psychoeducation about mental health, addiction, boundaries, and effective communication. Attendees will learn practical coping strategies, recognize warning signs, and explore ways to reduce caregiver fatigue while maintaining their own well-being. The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 7:00–8:30 p.m. and is facilitated by a licensed therapist committed to supporting families and strengthening the community.
